What is 01.space?

01.space turns creative expertise into tools that people and AI agents can use and combine.

Create images, video, motion, 3D, and interactive experiences using AI, real-time graphics, and editable logic. Start with an existing tool, explore an idea in Studio, or develop a method of your own.

The vision is Networked Creative Intelligence: creative expertise that can connect across people, projects, and software, growing through use and combination.

A finished piece shows a result. A reusable creative tool also preserves choices that produced it: camera behavior, timing, visual rules, inputs, and controls.

A motion designer might make a camera that responds to music. Another creator can apply it to a different scene or combine it with someone else’s effect. That combination can become a new tool for the next person.

You do not have to turn every work into a tool. Make the piece you need; keep a useful method when you want to use it again.

Use AI to generate material, express an idea as code, and refine a creative system. Use visual controls and editable logic when a particular decision needs precision.

For work represented as code or a scene, the structure, timing, and behavior remain available to edit. An adjustment can operate on that structure rather than requiring an entirely new generated clip. Generated images, captured footage, 3D assets, and real-world scans can all become material within a larger work.

Studio is where you create. Bring together references, assets, experiments, and tools in a Project. A tool’s Flow contains its method; its Interface exposes the decisions someone can change. An App presents a complete creative tool for others to use.

Use a tool through its interface, combine it with other tools, or remix its method when its author allows it. You can keep methods private, share within a team, or publish to the wider network.

  • Use a tool when you have a specific creative task and want a focused set of controls.
  • Explore in Studio when you want to collect material, test possibilities, and develop an idea.
  • Build a tool when a method is worth using in another project or handing to another creator.

These are different ways to work, not a required sequence.
